Meet Yajaira Gomez
A dynamic trilingual speaker, Rev. Dr. Gomez does not just teach the Word—she lives it out loud. As the founder of Lifegiving Ministries, her heartbeat for the Kingdom has taken her from the classrooms of Canada to the streets of the Caribbean and the communities of Congo, Africa. She is a passionate mobilizer who leads mission teams to partner with the global Church and champion orphans.
With advanced degrees from McMaster University (M.Div) and Tyndale Seminary (D.Min), she combines deep theological knowledge with real-world experience to her work. Whether she is equipping the next generation of leaders as Adjunct Faculty at Masters College & Seminary or Horizon Bible College & Seminary, or guiding churches through seasons of change as a Transitional Pastor (Western Ontario District), she brings a word that is timely, Spirit-led, and relevant for every generation.
How we started
In April 2006, Yajaira went on a seven-week internship to the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa. Within a few days of arrival, she was deeply moved by the living conditions she witnessed in the villages. Yajaira, who had always felt a call to serve others, was then asked to bring the Gospel Message to a Business Couples Ministry in Bukavu. Upon hearing the Message of the Cross and experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit, Yajaira was referred to teach and preach over 50 times in 49 days to the surrounding communities. It was during this transformative experience that Yajaira felt compelled to take action. Inspired by the resilience of the people she met, she founded Lifegiving Ministries.
